Winter is nearly over and another show season is about to be thrown in to full swing with Ultimate Dubs on 8 March. Check out March issue for a full show report.
So it time to get the car properly clean as it's been neglected over the winter months. After giving the car a quick jet wash it was very clear it was in need of some elbow grease to shift the dirt, especially the brake dust covering the wheels.
First we tried one of the usual alloy wheel cleaners and the results were far from satisfactory, see above image. We then turned to the test product, Restore by Bromoco. It's pretty new to the car market but has been used for some time in the commercial industry on buildings, yep buildings! The product is very easy to use, all you have to do is paint your alloys using a small bush and it gets to work in 10 to 15 minutes. Then rinse off and your alloys are restored to looking new. When we used it, it cleared 95% of the brake dust with one application and nearly 100% on the second. We give it a big thumbs up and well worth the asking price of £14.99.
